RentRite is a unique customer orientated business specialising in the renting of quality whiteware, home appliances and entertainment equipment at affordable prices. We began operating in 2004 and the first of two franchises started in early April 2006. Our business plan is to expand with franchises in all major provincial centres with up to 26 franchise opportunities being made available within 5 years.

RentRite is a well established domestic appliance rental firm with successful operations based in:· Auckland West;· Wellington;· Canterbury. Our reputation has rapidly grown and we gain new clients from referrals. RentRite aims to expand into the main provincial centres throughout New Zealand. This will assist RentRite to increase its efficiencies and individual franchisees to increase their business with increased exposure of the brand

Operations Manual


We have gone to some lengths to develop, a step-by-step systems and procedures manual that works effectively to build your business. When you adhere to this manual, it will remove the anxiety and costly errors associated with a new business.

The purpose of this manual is to assist you in operating your RentRite business smoothly and efficiently, after your initial training. It is the end result of considerable experience in this of business. It is plain commonsense to use the benefits of this experience.

We have removed the quess work and anxiety from the crucial areas of your operation. The general supply systems, along with business procedures and administration are fully documented.

Use of this manual will lead you through a set of complete and organized operationalinstructions to assist you to establish a profitable business, showing recurring weekly revenues (but you will be responsible for the actual success of your business).

Franchise Support

The Franchisor’s role is to provide the support and systems, enabling you as a franchisee, to effectively manage and operate your RentRite Business.

Franchise meetings will be held from time to time in order to provide information on the latest products, marketing techniques, suppliers, systems changes etc. Franchisees will be notified in advance of each meeting and it is a requirement of your franchise that you attend. In addition to these meetings each franchisee is encouraged to hold meetings with their staff at regular intervals.

A Field Officer is always available to take your call whenever you require one-on-one assistance and will visit you at your franchise on a regular basis.Our software support package enables us to connect remotely to your computer and guide you through stock control and financial management systems.

Financial

To succeed in this business you need to have the right personal characteristics and attitude to being part of a successful team. You will also need a sound financial base to set up your franchise and trade your way into a healthy profit.Confidentiality issues prevent us from giving you full details, but within this brochure we have provided you with an overview of the financial requirements for owning a RentRite franchise. The actual amount will depend on many factors and we can discuss possible details with you further as your application progresses.During the selection process, you will be provided with further financial information to enable you and your accountant to make your own assessment of the venture. At this stage you will be required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement.

What will I have to do?

Before you become a RentRite franchisee you will have to:· Complete a comprehensive application form providing detailed personal and financial information;· Have thorough reference check completed on you;· Undergo an assessment of your skills, ability and styles;· Have financial certification completed on your financial statements;· Attend several meeting with the franchisor. Give proof you have sought independent legal and accounting advice on the Franchise Agreement;· Participate in a comprehensive training program at our Head Office;· Complete a one week on-the-job work experience at a RentRite Franchise, where you are under the constant watch and evaluation of experienced people;· Be inducted and trained in the RentRite operating procedures and the Operations Manual.
